DESCRIPTION:About the Session\nIn a step-by-step live and interactive session held by our knowledge contributor (and founder) – Karan Mulchandani, you will get the chance to grow your first Basil, Thyme and Fenugreen plants. The result of this session, will reduce visits to your local bhajiwalla (vendor) for your methi (fenugreek) and ajavaayan (Thyme) supply.\nLet’s get to know Karan\nWith a background of Engineering in IT and a soul that lives in the mountains, Karan founded Enlightened Sapiens with a vision of a more mindful and collaborative society that facilitates the exchange of knowledge through personal experiences. He is currently learning how to play the cajon and is known to drive the entire house insane while doing so.\nWhat you’ll need for the session\n\n1 hour of your time\nA working internet connection\nTo grow the Plant during the session (Optional)\n\n3-4 Basil and Thyme stems (fresh from the vegetable vendor is preferable, but from your fridge will do)\n2 cups / glasses or similar container filled with water\n\n\nTo grow the Microgreen during the session (Optional)\n\n1 spoonful of seeds of basil (sabja), Thyme (ajavaayan), and Fenugreek (methi) (most households in India have these in the kitchen cabinet. If not, you can also get moong or mustard (rai) seeds)\n3 bowls / katori / cups or any similar container filled with water (your small dinner bowls are fine)\n1-2 small discarded plastic container, (could be dahi container, biscuit container, or just any old food parcel plastic container.
