Learn the Art of Expressive Lettering
About the Session
Did you know that you can actually express the emotion behind a certain word by writing it in a particular form? For example, just by writing and visually representing the word “fire” in a certain way can make the word itself feel hot and scorching. This is known as expressive lettering and widely used across packaging, books, film titling and retail stores. In this interactive and do-it-along session, our Knowledge Contributor – Dilbag Singh will help you better understand the difference between hand lettering, typography, calligraphy and handwriting, along with guiding you through the process of expressive lettering in a step-by-step manner. As a result of the session, you will be better equipped to begin your journey into the art of expressive lettering – a skill we’re sure you’re absolutely going to love!
