About the Session

Have you always wanted to learn lettering but not  sure where to begin? In this interactive and do-it-along session, our Knowledge Contributor – Simran Kaur will be introducing you to modern calligraphy, talking about brush pens, faux and brush lettering, as well as helping you with  basic strokes and starting with creatively drawing some fonts. At the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of the vast world of lettering and gain the tools and techniques to explore it further.

Let’s get to know Simran

Simran Kaur is a certified calligrapher and certified resin and alcohol ink artist, who conducts online and offline workshops. She is also a fashion designer and has taken part in GenNext Lakme Fashion Week. Check out some of her work here.

What you’ll need for the session

• 1 hour of your time
• A working internet connection
• Optional (The experience is all about doing-it-along with us!)
  • A4 sheet or any regular notebook
  • Pens
  • Brush pens (if you have)
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Sketch pens

What you won’t need for the session

• No credit card details
• No prior experience in Lettering
